Dear Parishioners and Friends,
The 2022 Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) is in progress. As a parish community of St. Mark, along with our “families of parishes,” we continue to “fuel the mission of evangelization.” The Biblical verse for this year’s appeal comes from the First Letter of Peter: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10). I am grateful for your sacrificial contribution to this annual Archdiocesan campaign. Any amount is greatly appreciated and it brings us closer to our target of $25,885. We hope that each household will be willing and able to assist our parish family with this worthy and important appeal – as we support a multitude of Archdiocesan services and ministries.
Our registered parishioners should have received “CSA packets” directly from the accounting company in Minnesota which is handling and processing the CSA campaign for the Archdiocese of Detroit. If you have not received any materials, please call our parish office. You can also learn more information at www.givecsa.org. Archbishop Vigneron reminds us: “The CSA is an opportunity to celebrate the ways our Church in Detroit responds to the material and spiritual needs of individuals and families. One parish alone could not meet these many needs. It is through the sharing of our gifts and our service that we, together, can be the Church Christ wants us to be.” In the spirit of individual and communal mission to announce the Good News of Jesus Christ, I ask you for your generous contribution.
In Christ’s abundant Life,
Fr. Stanley
