Dear Parish Family, ALL SAINTS AND ALL SOULS DAYS Tuesday, November 1st is All Saints Day and is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will celebrate Mass at 9:30am and 7:00pm on that day. Wednesday, November 2nd is All Souls Day. This is not a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am on that day. We will have our Memorial Mass on Sunday, November 6th at 11:00am. As you know this is a special time to remember our brothers and sisters who have had their funerals here at St Mark this past year. Letters have gone out to family members inviting them to attend this beautiful Mass. CFCS (CATHOLIC CEMETARIES) Do you have the cremated remains of your loved one at home? If so, our Gather Them Home celebration on Wednesday, November 2nd provides a beautiful way to have them laid to rest on sacred and cons crated ground at one of our six Archdiocese of Detroit Cemeteries. There is no cost to you. To make arrangements to lay your loved one to rest, contact: 248 350-1900 or visit gatherthemhome.com. Many men, women, and children are going to have warm feet this winter! We can all have warm hearts for sharing with others. “I CAN” SHARE THE HARVEST You may have noticed the fall display in the gathering space. This will serve as a backdrop for our annual collection of non-perishable food to help restock our food pantry. We will collect, cans of fruit, vegetables, soup, broth, pasta sauce, tuna, and chicken, in addition to rice, beans, pasta, mac& cheese, boxed potatoes, rice or pasta sides. St Mark has always been known for its generous outreach. We continue to provide emergency food to our brothers & sisters in need. With the cost of food increasing, more and more people request assistance. Questions? Please call the office at 586 759-3020 Have a blessed day! Mary Jo
