Fr Stanley often speaks of Divine Providence. This could be defined as “the dispositions by which God guides his creation toward this perfection. (ccc 302). We know God protects and governs all things he has created, and cares for everyone from the least things to great events.”
The Blessed Mother is also referred to as Our Lady of Providence or Our Lady of Divine Providence. Her feast day is November 19th. On this day we celebrate God’s love and will as well as the bond between Christ and the faithful.
The symbol of an All-Seeing Eye has been used since ancient times to signify the omniscience and omni- presence of God and His powerful character.
What do we say when something is inexplainable to conscious reason? It must be divine providence! God shows us compassion by reaching out and giving comfort. He gives us dignity by respecting the worth of everyone. He creates a culture of justice by promoting unity and reconciliation. He sets the standard for us to achieve excellence. He holds us accountable to do what is right and for the right reason that we may maintain our integrity.
